FAQs

At GIANT Architecture, we understand that starting a design project can bring many questions. Here are answers to some of the most common ones we hear from homeowners in Northern Colorado.

What types of projects do you specialize in?

GIANT Architecture focuses on residential design — including custom homes, remodels, additions, and interior renovations throughout Northern Colorado. We bring a modern, functional, and site-specific approach to every project, whether it’s a mountain home or a full remodel.

How does your design process work?

Our process is divided into clear phases:

  1. Programming – We discuss your goals, priorities, and site conditions.

  2. Schematic Design (SD) – Concept drawings and 3D views to explore design ideas.

  3. Design Development (DD) – Refinement of floor plans, elevations, and materials.

  4. Construction Documents (CD) – Permit-ready drawings with all necessary details.

  5. Construction Administration (CA) – Optional support during construction.

Do you handle building permits?

Yes — we can prepare and coordinate all drawings required for permit submittal. Depending on the jurisdiction, we’ll also collaborate with structural or mechanical engineers to provide any required stamped documents.

Do you offer 3D renderings?

Yes! We include realistic 3D renderings in our design phases to help clients visualize the project early on. Renderings can also be enhanced for presentation or marketing purposes upon request.

Can you recommend contractors or consultants?

Yes — we regularly collaborate with trusted general contractors, structural engineers, and other specialists in Northern Colorado. We can recommend professionals who align with your project’s scale, quality, and budget.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Boulder and surrounding areas. We also work remotely across Colorado for select projects.
